We have an immediate opening for a Project Engineer in mid-rise construction. Candidate should have field experience, enjoy a challenging, fast-paced learning environment, and be able to hit the ground running.
» Project Engineer
Duties include:
• accurate, organized document control, including LEED compliance
• scheduling, expediting and anticipating needs around material and equipment
• preparing / reviewing technical drawings
• problem identification and problem solving
Requirements:
• field construction experience
• detail-oriented and organized
• good communicator
• work well in a fast-paced, energetic environment
• reliable and able to multi-task
• work successfully with team, including management, owners, architects,
subcontractors, consultants, crafts people and co-workers
• LEED® interest / experience a strong plus.
» Mid-Rise Construction Superintendent
• General on-site supervision /direction of all phases of construction
project
• Work efficiently and effectively in both shared and solo supervisory
roles
• Responsible for overall project cost control, budget management and
cost forecasting
• Manage schedules and inventory control, subcontractor scheduling and
performance; and direct daily contact with field staff.
• Maintain quality control, safety, customer satisfaction and timeliness
• Provide day to day coordination of sub-contractors, engineers, surveyors,
and inspectors
• Monitor project quality, conduct regular inspections, develop punch
lists, expedite project close out.
• Work successfully with marketing and sales team
Requirements:
• Minimum of 5 yrs field construction experience at supervisory level
• Reliable, organized and able to multi-task
• Working knowledge of all crafts
• Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations.
• LEED experience a strong plus.
• Knowledge of rain screen systems.
• Structural light gage steel framing experience a plus.
